Carlotta Ardell
Carlotta Ardell is an engineer, professor, researcher, and author. She has written one book and numerous technical publications on multidisciplinary mobile robotics, human-robot interaction, engineering education and diversifying Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). During the 2020 pandemic, she embarked on the journey to identify strategies to bring STEM to the streets. As part of her mission to #MakeSTEMSteamy, she has authored two Black STEM Romance Novels, Elevated Inferno: Monet’s Moment and Breaking Point: Chandler’s Choice. She has also published her first children’s book, There’s a Robot in my Closet, to represent young Black and Brown girls and boys doing STEM.

David Blair
David attended the University of Utah on a scholarship, where he majored in the performing arts with a minor in ballet, and after sixteen months of academic probation, dropped out. At a loss, he lived for a number of years with The Way Ministry, a Christian cult. After “seeing the light” and making his escape, he embarked on an acting career, and sometimes even made a living at it.
AVERAGE MAN is David’s publication debut.
M. Blankenship
M. Blankenship is a multi-genre writer from the mountains of West Virginia. She is the author of “The Salem Devil” in Rebellion LIT’s anthology The Start and “A Crooked Man,” which was accepted and published on the official Creepypasta website. Starting off as a fanfiction and Wattpad author, she has built upon her skills, gained a following, and met many loyal people along the way. She’s currently working on a novel and hopes to have it traditionally published someday. In her downtime, she loves listening to music, playing video games, reading, and spending time with her family.
Erik Cederblom
Erik Cederblom, a San Francisco Bay Area author, describes himself as a non-recovering, compulsive storyteller. He prefers the short form: 50 and 100 word stories, flash fiction, and short stories. He is grateful to the: The Iowa Review, Typishly, Military Experience and the Arts, inScribe Journal of Creative Writing, Wicked Shadow Press, 50 Word Story, and others for sharing some of his stories.
Rebecca Cuthbert
Rebecca Cuthbert writes dark fiction and poetry. She loves folklore, witchy women, and anything that involves nature getting revenge. Her books include In Memory of Exoskeletons (Alien Buddha Press)and Creep This Way: How to Become a Horror Writer with 24 Tips to Get You Ghouling (Seamus & Nunzio Productions). Mia Dalia
Mia Dalia is an internationally published author of all things fantastic, thrilling, scary, and strange. Her short stories of horror, noir, science fiction, and more have been featured in a variety of anthologies and magazines and adapted for narrative podcasts. Wendy Harrison
Wendy Harrison is a retired prosecutor who turned to short mystery fiction during the pandemic. Her stories have been published in numerous anthologies and online magazines.When Hurricane Ian destroyed her home in Florida in 2022, she moved to the Pacific Northwest. When she isn’t writing, she is weaving or reading or walking the steep hills around her new home. She is grateful to have traded devastating hurricanes for potential wildfires, volcanoes, and earthquakes.
L.N. Hunter
L.N. Hunter’s comic fantasy novel, The Feather and the Lamp (Three Ravens Publishing), sits alongside works in anthologies such as Best of British Science Fiction 2022 and The Start, among others, as well as several issues of Short Édition’s Short Circuit and the Horrifying Tales of Wonder podcast. There have also been papers in the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, which are probably somewhat less relevant and definitely less entertaining. When not writing, L.N. occasionally masquerades as a software developer or can be found unwinding in a disorganized home in Carlisle, UK, along with two cats and a soulmate.

Valeria Hunter
Valerie Hunter teaches high school English and has an MFA in writing for children and young adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her stories have appeared in publications including Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Capsule Stories,and Sonder, as well as multiple anthologies.
Steve Loiaconi
Steve Loiaconi is a journalist and a graduate of George Mason University’s MFA program. His fiction previously appeared in Griffel, the Mystery Tribune, Allegory, Mythaxis, and the Saturday Evening Post, as well as the anthologies “Dracula’s Guests,” “Open All Night,” and “Why Didn’t You Just Leave.” He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and son.
Joe Mogel
Joe Mogel is a born and raised New Englander and is currently living in Worcester Mass. He’s a member of several regional writer’s groups, and actively participates in the city’s art scene. By day he’s an alumni of the History department and employee at Clark University, by night he’s a writer with a sense of the quirky and macabre in various genres. He has also written and published several non-fiction articles, ranging from author’s interviews to the history of piracy.
Kelly Okoniewski
Kelly Okoniewski is a poet, writer, and copyeditor. Her work has appeared in WestWard Quarterly, Sacred Journey, Sparks of Calliope, Farmer-ish, The Journal of Undiscovered Poets, Sailors Review, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Spare Parts, and Flash Fiction Magazine. In 2023, she won the Pennsylvania Poetry Society’s Who’s News in Prize Poems Award. The greatest joy in her life is being a mother to her amazing son. In her free time, she loves to read, cook, exercise, take walks in nature, and drink lots of coffee. Kelly lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and son.
Jake Stein
Jake Stein lives in Portland, OR, where he concocts strange tales on his laptop and spends too much time at Powell’s Books.
C. W. Stevenson
A native of San Antonio, Texas, C. W. “Clint” Stevenson resides there with his wife, son, and their retinue of furry companions. In his spare time, he reads, spends time with his family, and collects too many books to read in one lifetime. His work can be found in Alien Dimensions, Illustrated Worlds Magazine, and Creepy Pod.
